Time for More Fun in Boynton Beach! Ballroom Dancing is Back in October at the Boynton Beach Civic Center
Beginning again this October, enjoy ballroom dancing with the Bob Roberts Society Orchestra on Friday afternoons from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. The selection of music played by the orchestra allows dancers to enjoy many different dance steps, including Foxtrot, Two-step, Swing, Waltz and the very popular Latin styles of Rumba, Cha-Cha, Bossa-Nova, Merengue, and Mambo-Salsa. The full 16 piece big band plays a variety of tunes to entertain lovers of both dance and music in a weekly social environment.
Admission is $3 per person at the door.
Are you ready for some football? Delray Beach is starting a Flag Football League for girls and boys ages 4 to 13 years old. Delray Beach invites the kids to join the Youth Flag Football League at Pompey Park. The league starts August 11th with two age divisions at Pompey Park Ball Fields on Mondays through Thursdays from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm at a cost of $25.00 per person. Applications to join the league will be accepted until August 11th.
