Townhomes at Parkland Reserve kicks off Summer with Brand New Recreation Center

The dog days of summer have arrived in South Florida a bit early this year. One of the best ways to beat the heat is a dip in the pool. Residents of Centerline Homes’ Parkland Reserve neighborhood won’t have to travel far to take a swim. The recreation center is scheduled to open within two weeks. The large free-form pool is surrounded by an oversized sun deck and is adjacent to a covered veranda – for those who prefer to limit their exposure to the sun. Men’s and ladies cabana baths are also located adjacent to the pool. For those who prefer other summer activities, the Y.M.C.A. and Pine Trails Park are located directly across the street from The Townhomes at Parkland Reserve.
Centerline Homes is currently previewing a brand-new floor plan at The Townhomes. Known as The Shenandoah, this exciting design features an oversized kitchen and breakfast room, two-car garage, family room and Owner’s suite with luxury bath and retreat. Priced from $271,900, this plan has already met with tremendous buyer interest.

Parkland Schools One the Nation’s Best

Forbes Magazine has released their annual review of where will your housing dollars go the furthest in getting your kids a great education.  The City of Parkland landed eight overall and first in the category of towns with homes costing between   $400,000 to $599,999 homes.

Done in partnership with GreatSchools, Forbes analyzed 17,589 towns and cities in the 49 states that administer standardized, statewide tests (Nebraska doesn't have one test).  GreatSchools also used results from the most recent National Assessment for Educational Progress data, a federal program that tests randomly selected students in fourth, eighth and 12th grades to provide state-level assessments of learning and educational progress. By combining the two datasets, GreatSchools could calibrate the results of individual cities in a single state with national standards to come up with an absolute score for each city. It then graded them on a curve with the highest-ranking city, Falmouth, representing 100. GreatSchools assesses more than 200,000 public schools, including public charter schools.

“I am not surprised at Parkland’s ranking” said Parkland Mayor Michael Udine; “We have always emphasis the importance of our schools. Our City does as much as we can to assist our local schools.  Our volunteers and school community should all be commended and congratulated.  Their countless hours and hard work is paying off for our students.  This ranking just supports the reason that so many people want to come to Parkland to live and raise their family.”

We congratulate all those who were involved in obtaining this high honor!

Retreat is both a Noun and Verb at Parkland Reserve

Parkland Reserve Townhomes

Parkland Reserve’s Saratoga townhome model is proving that the word retreat can be both a noun and a verb. As a noun, the term refers to the large additional space in the Saratoga’s Owner’s Suite. This suite was specially designed to accommodate a wide-variety of furniture placement opportunities and space usages. As a verb, retreat refers to the feeling of escape, perhaps at the end of a long and hectic day. The Saratoga’s Owner’s Retreat is a true escape that’s adjacent to a deluxe Owner’s Bath that includes a Roman-style soaking tub, separate stall shower, his-and-her vanities with granite tops, maple cabinetry and Moen faucets.

To see the Saratoga model (and its sensational Owner’s Suite) take the Sawgrass Expressway to Coral Ridge Drive exit. Proceed north for 1 mile to Parkland Reserve’s entry on the right – just beyond Trails End. Open Daily 10-6, Call (954)282-6114 or visit www.CenterlineHomes.com
