Central Florida Earth Day 2010 will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando.  Central Florida Earth Day is a FREE event! Rain or shine! So far hundreds of sponsors, vendors, and contributors have committed to participating in Earth Day, with more signing up every day! Central Florida Earth Day is organized by Vegetarians of Central Florida.

Central Florida Earth Day will have a variety of activities and information for everyone! Music, speakers, massage, kid's activities, and more will all be available to let you know what you can do to help the planet and have fun doing it.

Many fun and educational activities will be happening throughout the day at Central Florida Earth Day! Come out for the whole day and take in as much as you can. The title of each area is a link to the page with more information. Schedule is subject to change.

Bloom & Grow will be hosting their 10th annual “Spring Fever in the Garden” with their two full day event of many plant, nature and wildlife related vendors on Saturday, April 10th, from 9a.m. to 5 p.m. Also, on Sunday, April 11th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be live entertainment, food vendors and plants galore for sale. The KIDZONE is planning two days of programs that will educate the children about our environment, how to save it and what lives in it. Climb on the old fire truck, jump in the bounce house, have a butterfly painted on your face. Have your picture taken. Stop by Ask the Experts booth for that information you need to spruce up your yard or learn about landscaping, water conservation or how to attract certain wildlife to your backyard. Visit the Silent Auction and place your bid on beautiful art items. Local artist have donated their works of art. They go home with the highest bidder. Buy a raffle ticket from a Bloom ‘n Grow member - it might be your lucky day. Many area businesses & festival vendors have donated items for the raffle. Festival T-shirts and Posters designed by Andy Crabtree,Winter Garden’s local artist, will be for sale at the Bloom ‘n Grow Booth near the fountain. The “Green Machines” will be running down the middle of the streets to pick up your purchased items and take them to the “Pick Up Point” where they will be loaded into your car when you are through shopping.
