Rise Up Community Easter Celebration at Cranes Roost Park

Rise Up Community Easter Celebration hosted by Family First Partnership and First Baptist Church of Altamonte Springs is free and open to the public.  This event is a community wide celebration Easter Service and Continental Breakfast for the entire family. 

A special service for kids will be held in the Eddie Rose Amphitheater.  The day begins at 8:00 am with a free breakfast and the opening of the Kid Zone Fun Spot.  The two services begin at 9:00 am in the Plaza and in the Amphitheater. Cranes Roost Blvd. will be closed for this event; no pets will be allowed in the park.

2011 Mount Dora Spring Collectibles & Craft Show

Approximately 200 vendors display their wares on the streets of downtown Mount Dora during this all-day fair. Admission is free. Mount Dora , known as “The Antique Capital of Central Florida,” is located approximately 25 miles Northwest of Orlando, via U.S. 441.

Second Annual Orlando Chili Cook-off

On Saturday, February 26 Blue Jacket Park in Baldwin Park will be the site of Orlando’s second annual chili cook-off. Located at 2420 Lakemont Avenue, gates open at 11:00AM and tickets can be purchased at the gate. Proceeds for this event are to benefit Special Olympics Florida. The cook-off promises to have something for everyone including live music and a kid’s fun zone.

Windermere Excitement!

Two fun annual events are coming to Windermere. This Saturday, February 26th is the Classic Car Show on Main Street. From 9AM to 3PM. Main Street will be closed between the 6th Avenue roundabout and 3rd Avenue. Three blocks will be dedicated to the finest antique and muscle cars.
