Orlando, Florida | Baldwin Park Has Gone to the Dogs

Brightside Events, Incorporated, a Florida Non-Profit Corporation, invites families to bring their friendly four-legged friends to the 3rd Annual Doggy Derby at Baldwin Park on May 1st, 2010 from 9 to 2pm at Corrine Commons in Baldwin Park. The Doggie Derby at Baldwin Park is on the morning of the famed Kentucky Derby and gives local canines and their owners a chance to engage in a friendly competition - in the spirit of the sport of kings. The format for the derby is a single-elimination, head-to-head race. The dogs are divided into four weight divisions: featherweight, lightweight, middleweight, and heavyweight. The winner of each heat advances to the next round until there are champions in each of the four weight divisions. Trophies will be awarded to the champion of each weight class. The overall winner will receive the grand prize.
